Mercedes-Benz ABS Pumps – Complete ABS / ESP Units
Mercedes ABS Pump: Choosing by Part Number
At Auto24Parts you will find used original Mercedes ABS pumps with control units, including the W203, W204, W211, W212, Sprinter, Crafter and Vito models. These are hydraulic modules with electronics, inspected and tested before sale.
Customers most often look for a module when the ABS or ESP warning light comes on, the system does not work when braking on a slippery surface, or the control unit has stored a valve or pump motor fault. Before buying a part, read the fault codes, as wheel speed sensors and their wiring can cause similar symptoms.
What matters when choosing is the complete part number from the hydraulic block and from the label on the control unit, for example a Mercedes number in the form A 003 431 xx xx, not just the model and year. If you are not sure, send us a photo of the original pump and the numbers on its label and we will help you check compatibility.

Mercedes ABS Pump: Hydraulic Module with ABS and ESP Control Unit
An ABS pump in a Mercedes is an aluminium hydraulic block with valves and a pump motor, together with a control unit that reads the signals from the wheel speed sensors. On many models the same module also handles the stability control system, so a fault sometimes shows up as more than just the ABS warning light. The module is usually sold and replaced as a single unit.
Our range includes more than 150 used original modules for various Mercedes models. Among them you will find Bosch numbers (0 265 ...), ATE numbers (10.02..., 10.09...) and TRW numbers, as well as Mercedes numbers. The range changes regularly, so the items below are only examples.

How to choose an ABS pump for a Mercedes by part number
Model and year are not enough, because the same model comes with different versions of the module, depending on the engine, drive and equipment level. You will find the numbers in several places:
- the Mercedes number stamped on the hydraulic block, in our range most often in the form A 0xx 431 xx xx or A 000 446 xx xx (in catalogues written as one string, for example A0034317412),
- the block manufacturer's number, for example Bosch 0 265 xxx xxx or ATE 10.02xx-xxxx.x,
- the control unit number on the label, for example Bosch 0 265 9xx xxx, ATE 10.09xx-xxxx.x or the Mercedes number A xxx 545 xx xx.
Compare all the numbers with the original pump in your car and, if in doubt, write to us before buying.
Symptoms of a faulty ABS pump or control unit
- the ABS warning light comes on after the engine is started and does not go out, sometimes together with the ESP warning light,
- the ABS stops working, although basic braking usually remains functional,
- the brake pedal pulses or feels uneven for no obvious reason,
- the control unit stores valve, pump motor or communication faults,
- brake fluid leaks from the hydraulic block, which requires immediate action.
Before deciding on a replacement, check the wheel speed sensors, their wiring and the supply voltage. After replacing the module, the fault codes usually need to be cleared, and after disconnecting the brake lines the system must be bled. On some models the module also needs to be adapted in the control unit, so installation is best left to a workshop with a suitable diagnostic scanner.
Used original ABS module: condition and inspection
We sell used original ABS modules, not new parts. Every item is inspected and tested before sale, and the product photos show the look of the block, the numbers and the labels, so you can compare them with your own pump.
