    §4. Technical Requirements

    To use the Store, the Customer requires:

    • a device with internet access;
    • a current web browser supporting cookies and encrypted connections;
    • an active e-mail address;
    • access to one of the payment methods available during checkout.

    Disabling cookies required for the shopping basket, login or checkout may prevent the Store from functioning correctly.

    The Customer may not submit unlawful content, interfere with the operation of the Store, attempt unauthorised access or use the website in a manner that infringes the rights of other persons.

    §5. Product Information and Compatibility

    The descriptions, photographs, part numbers and technical information presented in the Store are intended to help the Customer identify the Product.

    The Customer should compare all references shown on the original component with the numbers provided in the offer. Compatibility may depend on:

    • manufacturer and OEM part numbers;
    • hardware and software versions;
    • engine and transmission type;
    • vehicle equipment and configuration;
    • immobiliser or security system;
    • coding and programming requirements.

    Two electronic units may look identical but contain different hardware, software or coding. The Customer should contact the Seller before purchase if there is any uncertainty about compatibility.

    A compatibility check performed by the Seller is based on the information and photographs supplied by the Customer. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that this information is complete and accurate.

    §6. Prices and Taxes

    Product prices are shown in the currency selected in the Store. The applicable price is the price displayed when the Customer places the order.

    The final order total, including the selected delivery cost, is displayed before the Customer confirms the purchase.

    For sales to consumers within the European Union, VAT is charged in accordance with the applicable rules and destination of the transaction.

    For qualifying intra-Community supplies to VAT-registered business customers, the tax treatment may depend on verification of the Customer’s valid EU VAT number and fulfilment of the applicable legal requirements.

    For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import VAT, brokerage fees and local charges may be imposed by the destination country. Unless expressly stated otherwise, such charges are not included in the Store price and must be paid by the recipient.

    When a price reduction is announced, information about the lowest price applicable during the legally required reference period is displayed where required by law.

    §7. Placing an Order

    Orders may be placed through the Store twenty-four hours a day, subject to technical availability.

    To place an order, the Customer should:

    1. select the Product;
    2. select an available preparation option, if applicable;
    3. add the Product to the basket;
    4. enter correct billing, contact and delivery information;
    5. select an available delivery and payment method;
    6. review the order summary and total price;
    7. confirm the order and make payment where required.

    The Customer must provide true, complete and current information. The Seller is not responsible for a delay caused by an incorrect address, telephone number, e-mail address, VAT number or other information supplied by the Customer.

    An order may also be arranged by e-mail when accepted by the Seller. In such a case, the Seller will provide the Customer with an order summary or payment instructions.

    §8. Conclusion of the Contract

    Information displayed in the Store constitutes an invitation to Customers to place an order and does not automatically constitute a legally binding offer by the Seller.

    By submitting an order, the Customer makes an offer to purchase the selected Product or Service under these Terms and Conditions.

    The sales contract is concluded when the Seller accepts the order and sends confirmation that the order has been accepted for processing, unless the Store checkout process clearly indicates an earlier legally binding confirmation.

    Automated confirmation that the Store has received the order does not necessarily constitute acceptance if:

    • the Product is no longer available;
    • the price or description contains an obvious technical error;
    • the Customer has selected an unavailable Service;
    • the payment has not been authorised;
    • the order information is incomplete or appears incorrect;
    • there are justified grounds to suspect fraud or unlawful use.

    If the Seller cannot accept the order after payment has been made, the payment will be refunded using the original payment method unless another method is agreed.

    §9. Payments

    The Customer may use the payment methods displayed during checkout.

    Depending on the country, currency, browser and device, these may include:

    • credit or debit card;
    • PayPal;
    • Apple Pay;
    • Google Pay;
    • Link by Stripe;
    • bank transfer;
    • other local payment methods made available by the payment provider.

    Online payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment service provider. The availability and authorisation of a particular method are determined by the payment provider.

    The Seller begins preparation of a prepaid order after confirmation that the payment has been successfully completed or credited.

    If a bank transfer is selected, the Customer should include the order number in the payment reference.

    §10. Product Preparation Services

    Selected engine control units and modules may be offered with an additional Service.

    Available Services may include:

    • Virgin preparation;
    • IMMO OFF;
    • automatic programming preparation;
    • PIN or CAR PASS reading;
    • ECU or module cloning;
    • transfer of immobiliser or vehicle configuration data;
    • other individually agreed electronic preparation.

    Not every Service is technically available for every controller. The Seller may change or refuse the selected preparation if examination of the unit shows that the Service cannot be safely or correctly performed.

    Where cloning or data transfer is ordered, the Customer may be required to send the original controller to the Seller.

    The possibility of cloning depends on whether the necessary data can be read. Lack of diagnostic communication does not always prevent direct data recovery, but damage to the memory, processor or circuit board may make the Service impossible.

    The Customer should retain a copy of any important data where technically possible. The Seller is not responsible for pre-existing corruption or loss of data caused by damage to the original controller.

    §11. Starting an Additional Service Before the Withdrawal Period Expires

    Where the Customer is a Consumer and requests that an additional Service begin before the expiry of the statutory withdrawal period, the Store may require the Customer to:

    • make an express request for immediate commencement of the Service;
    • acknowledge that payment may be due for the part of the Service already performed;
    • acknowledge the statutory consequences of full performance where applicable.

    The Customer’s rights depend on the type of contract, the stage of performance and the requirements of applicable consumer law.

    Nothing in these Terms automatically removes a statutory right of withdrawal unless all legal conditions for the relevant exception have been satisfied.

    §12. Dispatch and Delivery

    Orders are shipped primarily through DHL and FedEx courier services.

    Estimated courier transit times after dispatch are:

    • Poland: usually one business day;
    • Europe: approximately one to two business days;
    • Worldwide: approximately four to five business days.

    These are estimates and may be extended by weekends, public holidays, customs procedures, remote-area delivery, courier disruption or circumstances outside the Seller’s reasonable control.

    A Product requiring unlocking, programming, cloning or another preparation Service normally requires approximately one to two additional business days before dispatch.

    Unless another delivery deadline has been expressly agreed, orders will be delivered within the period required by applicable consumer law.

    The exact shipping cost is displayed before the Customer confirms the order.

    §13. Transfer of Risk and Inspection of the Parcel

    For a Consumer, the risk of accidental loss or damage normally passes when the Consumer or a person designated by the Consumer takes physical possession of the Product, subject to applicable law.

    The Customer should inspect the external condition of the parcel at delivery.

    If the packaging is visibly damaged, the Customer should, where possible:

    • inform the courier immediately;
    • request a damage report;
    • take photographs of the parcel and Product;
    • contact the Seller without undue delay.

    Failure to prepare a courier damage report does not automatically remove a Consumer’s statutory rights, but documentation may assist in determining how the damage occurred.

    §14. Consumer Right of Withdrawal

    A Consumer who concludes a distance contract may generally withdraw from it without giving a reason within fourteen days.

    For a sales contract, the withdrawal period generally begins when the Consumer or a person indicated by the Consumer receives the Product.

    To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Consumer must send the Seller a clear statement before the deadline, for example by e-mail or post.

    The Consumer may use a statutory model withdrawal form, but its use is not compulsory.

    The Consumer should send the returned Product within fourteen days from the date on which the withdrawal statement was submitted.

    §15. Effects and Costs of Withdrawal

    After a valid withdrawal, the Seller will refund payments received from the Consumer, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order.

    Additional delivery costs resulting from the Consumer’s selection of a more expensive delivery option are not refundable above the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method.

    The refund will be made using the original payment method unless the Consumer expressly agrees otherwise.

    The Seller may withhold the refund until:

    • the returned Product has been received; or
    • the Consumer provides evidence that the Product has been sent back, whichever occurs first.

    The Consumer bears the direct cost of returning the Product unless the Seller agrees to cover it or applicable law provides otherwise.

    The Consumer may be responsible for a reduction in the Product’s value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

    §16. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

    The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply in cases specified by applicable law, including, where the legal conditions are met:

    • goods made to the Consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised;
    • a Service that has been fully performed after performance began with the Consumer’s prior express request and the Consumer was properly informed of the consequences;
    • sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons after opening, where applicable;
    • other contracts expressly excluded under applicable consumer legislation.

    Whether an ECU, module or preparation Service falls within an exception is assessed according to the specific contract, the nature of the modifications and the requirements of applicable law.

    The presence of an individual programming, cloning or modification Service does not automatically exclude all statutory rights unless the legal requirements for an exception are satisfied.

    §17. Condition of Returned Products

    A returned Product should be complete and appropriately protected for transport.

    Where possible, the Customer should include:

    • the order number;
    • the withdrawal statement or return information;
    • all accessories supplied with the Product;
    • packaging sufficient to protect connectors, pins, housings and hydraulic components.

    Removal, damage or alteration of a security seal may indicate that the Product has been installed, opened or modified. It does not automatically remove statutory Consumer rights, but it may be relevant when assessing use, damage, reduced value or the cause of a reported fault.

    §18. Conformity of Goods and Consumer Complaints

    The Seller is responsible to Consumers for the conformity of goods with the contract under applicable consumer legislation.

    A Product is expected to conform to the contract, taking into account its description, agreed purpose, condition, functionality and other features stated in the offer.

    The fact that a Product is used does not in itself constitute a lack of conformity. Normal signs of previous use that were disclosed or can reasonably be expected from the description and price of a used part are not automatically defects.

    A Consumer may submit a complaint by e-mail or post and should provide:

    • the order number;
    • the Product number;
    • a description of the reported non-conformity;
    • diagnostic fault codes or a diagnostic report where relevant;
    • information about installation and programming;
    • photographs where they help identify the issue;
    • the remedy requested by the Consumer.

    Under applicable law, the Consumer may initially be entitled to request repair or replacement, subject to the legal conditions. In the circumstances specified by law, the Consumer may also request a price reduction or withdraw from the contract.

    The Seller will respond to a Consumer complaint within fourteen days of receiving it, unless a different mandatory period applies.

    §19. Installation and Diagnostics

    Automotive electronic parts should be installed by a suitably qualified workshop using appropriate diagnostic and programming equipment.

    Some Products may require:

    • coding;
    • software configuration;
    • immobiliser adaptation;
    • calibration;
    • initial startup procedures;
    • brake system bleeding;
    • vehicle-specific learning or synchronisation.

    A Product should not be considered defective solely because the vehicle requires coding, adaptation, calibration or repair of another system.

    The Seller may request diagnostic fault codes, installation information or return of the complete Product before determining the cause of the problem.

    Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, the Seller is not responsible for workshop labour, vehicle recovery, loss of use, diagnostic fees or damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect coding or faults elsewhere in the vehicle.

    §20. Commercial Warranty

    Unless a different period is stated in the offer, Products sold by Auto24Parts are covered by a six-month commercial warranty under the conditions stated in the warranty information.

    The commercial warranty is voluntary and does not exclude, limit or suspend any statutory rights available to a Consumer in relation to the conformity of goods with the contract.

    A warranty claim may require the Customer to return the complete Product for inspection.

    If the warranty claim is accepted, the Seller may, depending on the circumstances:

    • repair the Product;
    • replace it with a compatible Product;
    • refund the amount covered by the accepted claim.

    Detailed procedures are provided on the Store’s returns, warranty and complaints page.

    §21. Exclusions Relating to Incorrect Use

    Subject to mandatory Consumer rights, the Seller may reject a commercial warranty claim where the problem resulted from:

    • incorrect installation or connection;
    • use of an incompatible Product;
    • incorrect polarity, voltage or short circuit;
    • water, fire, impact or mechanical damage after delivery;
    • unauthorised opening, modification or repair;
    • incorrect programming, coding or adaptation;
    • a fault in another vehicle component or wiring system;
    • use contrary to the Product’s intended purpose;
    • failure to follow installation requirements applicable to the vehicle.

    These exclusions do not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.

    §22. Business Customers

    Where legally permitted, contracts with Business Customers may be subject to different rules from contracts with Consumers.

    For Business Customers who are not entitled to Consumer protection:

    • the statutory right of withdrawal from a distance contract does not apply;
    • the Customer should inspect the Product promptly after delivery;
    • visible transport damage or quantity discrepancies should be reported without undue delay;
    • the Seller’s liability may be limited to the value of the affected Product, to the extent permitted by law;
    • liability for indirect losses, loss of profit or vehicle downtime is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

    These provisions do not apply to an Entrepreneur with consumer rights where mandatory law grants that person specific Consumer protections.

    §23. Seller’s Liability

    Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

    The Seller is not responsible for:

    • incorrect information supplied by the Customer;
    • selection of a Product contrary to clearly displayed part numbers;
    • failure of unrelated vehicle systems;
    • delays caused by customs authorities or courier events outside the Seller’s control;
    • temporary unavailability of the Store caused by maintenance or external technical failures;
    • consequences of unauthorised modification or incorrect installation.

    §24. Personal Data and Privacy

    Personal data is processed for purposes including:

    • accepting and fulfilling orders;
    • processing payments;
    • arranging delivery and customs clearance;
    • issuing invoices;
    • responding to enquiries;
    • handling returns, complaints and warranty claims;
    • maintaining account and website security.

    Detailed information about the controller, purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention periods, cookies and data subject rights is provided in the Store’s Privacy Policy.

    §25. Reviews, Messages and Customer Content

    A Customer submitting a product review, message, photograph or other content confirms that:

    • the content is accurate to the best of their knowledge;
    • they are entitled to submit it;
    • it does not infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
    • it does not contain unlawful, abusive or misleading material.

    The Seller may refuse to publish or may remove content that violates law, these Terms or the rights of another person.

    §26. Intellectual Property

    The contents of the Store, including product descriptions, photographs, graphics, logos, page layout and original informational materials, may be protected by copyright, trademark law or other intellectual property rights.

    They may not be copied, republished, modified, distributed or used commercially without the prior consent of the rights holder, except where applicable law permits such use.

    §27. Complaints About Electronic Services

    Complaints relating to the operation of the Customer account, basket, checkout or other electronic services may be sent to: contact@auto24parts.com.

    The complaint should describe the technical problem, the date on which it occurred, the device or browser used and any relevant error message.

    The Seller will review the complaint without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law.

    §28. Out-of-Court Consumer Dispute Resolution

    A Consumer may be entitled to use out-of-court complaint and dispute resolution procedures available under Polish or European consumer protection rules.

    Information about consumer assistance and authorised dispute resolution entities may be obtained from:

    • the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection;
    • a competent consumer ombudsman;
    • an authorised consumer dispute resolution entity;
    • the European Consumer Centre in the Consumer’s country.

    Use of an out-of-court procedure is voluntary unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

    §29. Governing Law

    These Terms and Conditions are governed by Polish law.

    This choice of law does not deprive a Consumer residing in another country of mandatory consumer protection granted by the law that would apply in the absence of that choice.

    Disputes involving Consumers will be resolved by the courts competent under applicable consumer and procedural law.

    For disputes with Business Customers, the competent court may be the court having jurisdiction over the Seller’s registered place of business, to the extent permitted by law.

    §30. Amendments to the Terms and Conditions

    The Seller may amend these Terms and Conditions for valid reasons, including:

    • changes in applicable law;
    • changes to payment or delivery services;
    • introduction of new Store functions;
    • changes to the Seller’s business or technical processes;
    • the need to clarify existing provisions.

    The current version will be published on the Store’s website with its effective date.

    An amendment does not adversely change the conditions of an order or contract concluded before the new version became effective.

    §31. Final Provisions

    If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.

    Mandatory provisions of law apply wherever these Terms do not regulate a matter or where a contractual provision cannot lawfully exclude them.

    The Customer may save or print these Terms and Conditions before placing an order.

    • Burnt Automatic Transmission Control Module – Symptoms, Diagnosis, and an Effective Solution

      The automatic transmission is an incredibly complex system, combining advanced mechanics, hydraulics, and precise electronics. The brain of this entire operation is the transmission control module, commonly known as the TCM. In fractions of a second, this device analyzes data from speed sensors, throttle position, and engine RPM to make decisions about the perfect moment to shift gears.

      Unfortunately, due to harsh working conditions, these modules can be prone to serious failures. One of the most critical faults is the physical burning of the electronics inside the module. In the following article, we will take a closer look at this phenomenon, discuss the characteristic symptoms, and advise on the most cost-effective way to deal with this expensive problem.

    • Burnt ABS Pump Controller: Failure Symptoms and Why You Should Choose an Original Used Part

      The ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) is the foundation of active safety in every modern vehicle. Its main task is to prevent the wheels from locking during sudden braking, allowing the driver to maintain full control over the car in emergency situations. The brain of this entire system is the electronic controller, which is most often integrated with the hydraulic ABS pump.

      This device processes data from wheel speed sensors in fractions of a second and decides when to open and close the solenoid valves. Unfortunately, like any advanced electronics, this controller is prone to failure. One of the most serious issues is the complete burning out of the module. Learn how to recognize this fault, why you should avoid non-original aftermarket replacements, and how to permanently solve the problem.
