    Our History and Experience

Auto24Parts was founded in 1997 as a vehicle repair workshop and used parts store specialising in Opel, Vauxhall, Chevrolet and Holden vehicles. From the beginning, the company has operated from its premises in Katowice, Poland.

As automotive technology developed, we gradually focused on the sale, testing and preparation of electronic vehicle components for a wider range of manufacturers. Today, our warehouse contains thousands of petrol and diesel ECUs, ABS control modules, transmission controllers, instrument clusters and other automotive electronic units.

In 2017, our premises were renovated and expanded with additional warehouse space and a larger technical area. This allowed us to increase product availability, improve stock control and extend our ECU preparation and automotive electronics services.

Our Own Warehouse and a Wide Selection of Parts

We operate our own automotive electronics warehouse, allowing us to verify stock quickly and prepare orders efficiently. Many replacement engine computers, complete ABS pumps, transmission controllers and vehicle modules are physically available at our facility in Katowice.

Most of our used electronic components are sourced from vehicles imported from abroad, often with relatively low mileage. When a part enters the warehouse, we verify its references, external condition, connectors, housing and electronic communication whenever technically possible.

    Testing and Inspection Before Dispatch

Parts are inspected when they enter our warehouse and checked again before sale and dispatch. The exact verification procedure depends on the product type, its construction and the testing methods available for that unit.

We inspect the housing, connectors, pins, security seals, labels and visible electronic components. For selected ECUs, ABS modules and transmission controllers, we also perform communication checks or data reading where the design of the unit allows it.

This verification process helps reduce the risk of sending a mechanically damaged, incorrectly identified or incompatible product. All used parts sold by Auto24Parts are covered by a written six-month commercial warranty unless another period is stated in the offer.

    ECU Preparation and Programming Options

Our technical department can prepare selected engine control units and electronic modules according to the vehicle system and the customer’s requirements.

Depending on the ECU, available services may include Virgin preparation, IMMO OFF, Plug & Play, automatic programming, PIN code reading or cloning from the original controller.

Not every preparation method is available for every ECU. The available service depends on the exact part number, manufacturer, vehicle model, software version and immobiliser system.

Before ordering a prepared engine control unit, read our guide to Virgin, IMMO OFF, Plug & Play and ECU cloning options.

    • How to Check the Operation of a Transmission Control Module in a Car – A Comprehensive Diagnostic Guide

An automatic transmission is one of the most advanced and complex components in a modern car. It combines precise mechanics, intricate hydraulics, and sensitive electronics. The brain of the entire system is the transmission control module (TCM)—an electronic unit responsible for analyzing data from dozens of sensors and making gear-shifting decisions in fractions of a second.

When this crucial component fails, the comfort and safety of driving drop drastically. In the following article, we explain how to correctly diagnose and check the operation of an automatic transmission control module, what symptoms to look out for, and what solutions to choose in case of failure.

    • Burnt Automatic Transmission Control Module – Symptoms, Diagnosis, and an Effective Solution

The automatic transmission is an incredibly complex system, combining advanced mechanics, hydraulics, and precise electronics. The brain of this entire operation is the transmission control module, commonly known as the TCM. In fractions of a second, this device analyzes data from speed sensors, throttle position, and engine RPM to make decisions about the perfect moment to shift gears.

Unfortunately, due to harsh working conditions, these modules can be prone to serious failures. One of the most critical faults is the physical burning of the electronics inside the module. In the following article, we will take a closer look at this phenomenon, discuss the characteristic symptoms, and advise on the most cost-effective way to deal with this expensive problem.

    • Burnt ABS Pump Controller: Failure Symptoms and Why You Should Choose an Original Used Part

The ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) is the foundation of active safety in every modern vehicle. Its main task is to prevent the wheels from locking during sudden braking, allowing the driver to maintain full control over the car in emergency situations. The brain of this entire system is the electronic controller, which is most often integrated with the hydraulic ABS pump.

This device processes data from wheel speed sensors in fractions of a second and decides when to open and close the solenoid valves. Unfortunately, like any advanced electronics, this controller is prone to failure. One of the most serious issues is the complete burning out of the module. Learn how to recognize this fault, why you should avoid non-original aftermarket replacements, and how to permanently solve the problem.

    • Burned Engine Control Unit: Symptoms, Causes, and the Optimal Solution

Hidden inside every modern car is an advanced computer that constantly orchestrates the operation of the entire powertrain. We are talking about the engine control unit, commonly known as the ECU (Engine Control Unit) or ECM (Engine Control Module). This specific module decides on the fuel injection dose, ignition timing, boost pressure, and communication with other systems in the vehicle.

    • Flooded Automatic Transmission Control Module: Why Repair is a Waste of Money and How to Bring Your Car Back to Life as Quickly as Possible?

Heavy rain, driving through a deep puddle, or simply parking your car in the autumn under a tree shedding leaves. You turn the key, shift into "Drive," and instead of a smooth start, you feel a massive jerk. The PRND gear indicators disappear from the dashboard, and the car barely moves, stuck in one gear. The mechanic's diagnosis is often brutal and keeps you awake at night: a flooded Automatic Transmission Control Module (TCM).

    • Water-Damaged ABS Pump Control Module – Why is Repairing it a Waste of Time and Money?

A rainy day, driving through a deep puddle, or simply a car parked under a tree with falling leaves. Suddenly, your dashboard lights up like a "Christmas tree" – ABS, ESP, parking brake failure lights, and often a lack of speedometer readings. The mechanic's diagnosis can be ruthless: a water-damaged ABS pump control module.

This is one of the most annoying automotive electronic failures. In such a situation, many drivers start looking for ways to dry, test, or revive the damaged module. Unfortunately, in the case of electronics operating within the braking system, such attempts are usually throwing money down the drain.
