Here you will find used, fully working Bosch engine control units for the Iveco Daily. Choose the unit by the numbers on its label: the Bosch number (starting with 0281) and the Iveco part number. The model and engine size alone are not enough, as different ECU versions were fitted to the same Daily.

How to choose an Iveco engine control unit
The ECU label usually carries two numbers: the Bosch number, e.g. 0281030169 (also printed on the sticker as 0 281 030 169), and the Iveco part number, e.g. 5801557345. Compare both with the label on the unit in your vehicle – every digit must match. A similar casing or the same first digits do not mean the modules are interchangeable.

Locked or unlocked?
A locked unit still holds the data and immobiliser of the previous vehicle. It is the choice of workshops that unlock, program and match the module to the vehicle themselves. The unlocked version is prepared before dispatch – depending on the unit, this may be, for example, reading the PIN code, a Virgin version or a clone of the data from your own module. Not every method is available for every part number, so please ask about the options for your chosen unit before ordering.
When replacing the ECU makes sense
Signs of a faulty ECU include a no-start condition despite a good power supply, no communication with the diagnostic tool, limp mode with no sensor fault, or damage caused by water ingress or a voltage surge. However, problems with the battery, earth connections and wiring loom cause similar symptoms, so it is worth ruling them out before you buy.
