    Product Selection and Availability

How can I check whether a product is available?

The current availability status is shown on the product page. If a part is unavailable or you cannot find the required reference, contact us with the complete part number. We may be able to locate another compatible unit or inform you when the product becomes available again.

How do I select the correct electronic part for my vehicle?

The most important information is the complete part number shown on the original unit. The vehicle make and model alone are often not sufficient to confirm compatibility.

Send us a clear photo of the label and, when possible, the vehicle model, year, engine type and transmission version. We will compare the available references before you order.

Can two parts that look identical have different functions?

Yes. Control units with similar housings may contain different hardware, software, coding or vehicle configuration. Always compare all Bosch, ATE, Continental, Siemens, Delphi, Magneti Marelli, Denso and original vehicle manufacturer numbers.

Need help identifying a part? Browse our automotive electronic parts or contact Auto24Parts with the complete product reference.

Engine Control Units and ECU Preparation

Are engine control units tested before dispatch?

Engine control units are checked when they enter our warehouse and verified again before dispatch. The scope of testing depends on the ECU design and the diagnostic or data-reading methods available for that unit.

Can an ECU be prepared as Plug & Play?

For selected models, an ECU can be prepared as Plug & Play, Virgin, IMMO OFF, automatically programming or cloned from the original controller. Availability depends on the exact ECU number, vehicle system and software version.

    What is a Virgin ECU?

A Virgin ECU has been cleared of the previous vehicle data and prepared for new programming. After installation, it must normally be programmed and adapted to the vehicle using suitable diagnostic equipment.

    What does IMMO OFF mean?

IMMO OFF means that the immobiliser function has been disabled in the engine control unit. This option is available only for selected ECU models and vehicle systems.

Do I need to send my original ECU for cloning?

Yes. To clone an ECU, we normally need the original controller so that the immobiliser data, coding and vehicle configuration can be read and transferred to the replacement unit.

Before ordering, read our guide to ECU preparation options or browse available engine control units .

ABS Pumps, Modules and Other Electronic Parts

Do you sell complete ABS pumps?

Yes. We supply complete ABS pumps consisting of an electronic control module and hydraulic unit. Before ordering, compare all numbers shown on the pump, controller and hydraulic block.

Does an ABS pump require coding after installation?

It depends on the vehicle and ABS system. Some units may require coding, calibration, adaptation or transfer of the original configuration after installation. The workshop should verify the procedure using suitable diagnostic equipment.

    • Burnt Automatic Transmission Control Module – Symptoms, Diagnosis, and an Effective Solution

The automatic transmission is an incredibly complex system, combining advanced mechanics, hydraulics, and precise electronics. The brain of this entire operation is the transmission control module, commonly known as the TCM. In fractions of a second, this device analyzes data from speed sensors, throttle position, and engine RPM to make decisions about the perfect moment to shift gears.

Unfortunately, due to harsh working conditions, these modules can be prone to serious failures. One of the most critical faults is the physical burning of the electronics inside the module. In the following article, we will take a closer look at this phenomenon, discuss the characteristic symptoms, and advise on the most cost-effective way to deal with this expensive problem.

The ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) is the foundation of active safety in every modern vehicle. Its main task is to prevent the wheels from locking during sudden braking, allowing the driver to maintain full control over the car in emergency situations. The brain of this entire system is the electronic controller, which is most often integrated with the hydraulic ABS pump.

This device processes data from wheel speed sensors in fractions of a second and decides when to open and close the solenoid valves. Unfortunately, like any advanced electronics, this controller is prone to failure. One of the most serious issues is the complete burning out of the module. Learn how to recognize this fault, why you should avoid non-original aftermarket replacements, and how to permanently solve the problem.
