One of the most common reasons of gearbox failure is defective computer in the form of the gearbox controller. This element takes the form of a hydraulic switchboard with various sorts of valves, levers or bearings, all affecting the more or less reliable operation of the gearbox. The gearbox controller is therefore one of the most important elements of this component that is present in every motor vehicle. Its function is to control the transmission and feed it with oil under the correct pressure. The gearbox transmits power from the engine and thus affects the speed of the vehicle.

Engine controller, which is found in virtually every modern car manufactured nowadays, is nothing else but a high-quality electronic module that controls the operation of a combustion engine. The operation of the module is based on a large number of data that are stored in the memory of the car computer. Among these data, there are maps of various sorts as well as data tables, thanks to which the controller module is capable of coordinating the operation of the entire engine of the vehicle.

No matter how long we have been driving, each of us is perfectly aware that the engine, being the drive unit, is the heart of our car. If any of its assemblies begins to malfunction, then the whole  car stops operating as it should. Therefore it is so important to ensure its proper functioning.

Each drive unit in the form of a combustion engine needs a fully functional gearbox. It does not matter whether it will be a simple box with manual gear shifting or a much more modern automatic gearbox. Along with the application of the latest technologies, we are offered efficiently functioning gearboxes that enable effective use of the power delivered from the engine.

The ABS pump fulfils one of the most important functions in the car that affect its safe use. Its task is to ensure that the road wheels do not get blocked during heavy braking. Thanks to this, the driver does not lose control over the steering wheel and the braking is considerably safer.

How the ECU affects car performance. The contemporary passenger car user is fascinated by the simply amazing number of options that they have at their disposal after starting the drive unit of their car. This is possible through the use of an electronic module controlling the engine operation, which enormously contributes to the increased comfort of driving and facilitates quick and accurate diagnostics for all of the subassemblies that are found in our cars.
