Fitting BMW ECUs to your car
The engine control unit (ECU) manages injection, ignition and the throttle based on sensor signals. That is why a replacement is chosen by the numbers on its label: the electronics manufacturer's number and the BMW OEM number. The car model and engine size alone are not enough, because one model can come with several ECU versions.
Numbers and markings of BMW control units
On the label of BMW ECUs you will find the electronics manufacturer's number and the OEM number. Compare both with the numbers in the listing. The Bosch number 0281032209 is sometimes written as 0 281 032 209, so search both ways.
More numbers from our stock: 0281011224, 0261200400, 0261208388, 0261209005.
