How to match Subaru engine control units by part number
Subaru engine computers depend on the engine version, power output and year, so the same car model can have different control units. The safest way is to compare every number on the label of the used ECU: the manufacturer number (for example Bosch or Siemens) and the OEM number.
Numbers and markings of Subaru control units
On the label of Subaru ECUs you will find the electronics manufacturer's number and the OEM number. Compare both with the numbers in the listing. Enter the number from the label once without spaces and once with spaces or hyphens, as both notations are in use.
