How to match Lancia engine control units by part number
The engine control unit (ECU) manages injection, ignition and the throttle based on sensor signals. That is why a replacement is chosen by the numbers on its label: the electronics manufacturer's number and the Lancia OEM number. The car model and engine size alone are not enough, because one model can come with several ECU versions.
