Opel ABS Pumps and ABS Control Units

Opel ABS Pump: Choosing by Part Number

At Auto24Parts you will find used original ABS pumps with control units for Opel cars, including the Astra J, Meriva, Antara, Captiva, Corsa F and Mokka models. These are hydraulic modules with ABS system electronics, inspected and tested before sale.

Customers most often look for a module when the ABS warning light comes on, the system does not work when braking on a slippery surface, or the control unit has stored a valve or pump motor fault. Before buying a part, read the fault codes, as wheel speed sensors and their wiring can cause similar symptoms.

What matters when choosing is the complete part number from the listing, for example an Opel number in the form 13332613 and the Bosch or ATE manufacturer's number, not just the model and year. If you are not sure, send us a photo of the original pump and the numbers on its label and we will help you check compatibility.

Opel ABS Pump: Hydraulic Module with ABS Control Unit

An ABS pump in an Opel is an aluminium hydraulic block with valves and a pump motor, together with a control unit that reads the signals from the wheel speed sensors. On many models the same module also handles the stability control system, so a fault sometimes shows up as more than just the ABS warning light. The module is usually sold and replaced as a single unit.

Our range includes several used original modules for various Opel models. Among them you will find Opel numbers, as well as Bosch (0 265 ...) and ATE (10.02..., 10.09...) manufacturer numbers. The range changes regularly, so the items below are only examples.

Opel Astra J ABS Pump

For the Astra J our range includes, among others:

Opel Meriva, Antara and Captiva ABS Pump

For the Meriva, as well as for the Antara and Captiva, we have modules, for example:

Opel Corsa F and Mokka ABS Pump

For the newer models our range includes, among others, the following modules:

Modules shared by Opel and other brands

Individual listings describe a module as shared by several brands, for example Opel Peugeot Jeep ABS pump, number 9860815280. Our listings do not always state the car model, so compatibility depends on the number from the original pump.

How to choose an ABS pump for an Opel by part number

Model and year are not enough, because the same model comes with different versions of the module, depending on the engine, drive and equipment level. In our range you will find several kinds of numbers:

  • the original number, usually eight digits long, for example 13332613, or ten digits long on newer models, for example 9846124480,
  • the manufacturer's number for the hydraulic block, for example Bosch 0 265 2xx xxx or ATE 10.02xx-xxxx.x,
  • the control unit number, for example Bosch 0 265 9xx xxx or ATE 10.09xx-xxxx.x.

Compare all the numbers with the original pump in your car and, if in doubt, write to us before buying.

Symptoms of a faulty ABS pump or control unit

  • the ABS warning light comes on after the engine is started and does not go out,
  • the ABS stops working, although basic braking usually remains functional,
  • the brake pedal pulses or feels uneven for no obvious reason,
  • the control unit stores valve, pump motor or communication faults,
  • brake fluid leaks from the hydraulic block, which requires immediate action.

Before deciding on a replacement, check the wheel speed sensors, their wiring and the supply voltage. After replacing the module, the fault codes usually need to be cleared, and after disconnecting the brake lines the system must be bled. On some models the module also needs adaptation in the control unit, so installation is best left to a workshop with a suitable diagnostic scanner.

Used original ABS module: condition and inspection

We sell used original ABS modules, not new parts. Every item is inspected and tested before sale, and the product photos show the look of the block, the numbers and the labels, so you can compare them with your own pump.

FAQ: Opel ABS Pump

Which Opel models do you have ABS pumps for?
Our range includes modules for the Astra J, Meriva, Antara, Captiva, Corsa F and Mokka, among others. The listings do not always state the year, so always confirm compatibility with the number from the original pump.
How can I recognise an Opel number on an ABS pump?
Original Opel numbers in our range are usually eight digits long, for example 13332613, or ten digits long on newer models, for example 9846124480. Alongside them we give the Bosch and ATE manufacturer numbers.
Are the model and year of the car enough to choose the right part?
No. The same model comes with different versions of the module. The most reliable reference is the number on the original pump.
Can I send a photo so you can check compatibility?
Yes. Contact Auto24Parts and send a photo of the numbers on the original pump, and we will help you check whether the module will fit.
