The ABS system increases our driving comfort and safety from the mid-1960s. It was designed by Dunlop and introduced for the first time in a Jensen FF car. The system is designed to prevent the wheels from locking during sudden braking. This reduces the risk of skidding, which is particularly important in difficult weather conditions.
Ecu Abs Esp Module
The heart of the entire system is the ABS controller. Sensors located in different places collect data on a regular basis and send it to the controller. Here, the information is analyzed thoroughly. When a threat is detected, the controller takes control of the solenoid valves that regulate the fluid pressure in the brake system. Operation is very simple. The system simulates impulsive braking thus preventing wheel locking and skidding. ABS is especially useful in winter when driving on snowy and icy roads.
Every now and then you should decide to review the ABS system. As a result of many years of use, the ABS driver can simply crash. Then it will incorrectly process data from the sensors or will be completely switched off, which will deprive us of an important piece of equipment that increases the safety of driving. In such situations, the ABS controller should be replaced. In order to avoid additional costs, you can buy a used, functional part.
The ABS controllers offered by us have been checked by qualified mechanics. We are aware of the importance of efficient operation of this system, which is why we have only proven parts from the best suppliers in our assortment. In this way, you can replace the ABS driver cheaply and regain the system that ensures greater driving safety in difficult weather conditions. The assembly mechanic should also carry out an overview of the entire system, checking the operation of sensors and solenoid valves.

Electronic ABS and ESP controllers - basic information
In many older and modern car models, manufacturers use various types of systems responsible for improving the level of comfort as well as driving safety. An extremely important role is played, among others, by systems responsible for protection against slipping. These are most often ABS and ESP systems supported by a network of sensors and electronic controllers. Such equipment has a huge impact on safety. It is worth learning more about the operation of such solutions, which from convenience have become one of the basic elements of equipment of many cars.
What is worth knowing about the operation of ABS and ESP systems?
As for the ABS systems, they are responsible for detecting loss of grip when braking. They are especially useful when driving on slippery surfaces such as snow, ice or a wet road covered with leaves, etc. If slipping is detected, this system automatically initiates pulse braking. Thanks to this, you can effectively slow down and brake without losing traction and the reaction of the wheels to turning the steering wheel.
The second type of system that improves driving safety is ESP. In this case, we are dealing with a solution responsible for track control. If a skid caused by oversteer or understeer is detected, the system effectively brakes the appropriate wheel. Once the vehicle is back on track, the system automatically applies the brakes to the wheels to reduce speed to a safe level. This is a particularly important solution in the winter season, as well as for drivers who like to dynamically negotiate sharp corners.
The proper operation of such systems depends not only on the network of sensors, but also on the proper functioning of special control modules. Such electronic components can occasionally fail requiring replacement. Fortunately, many components of this type are available in the offers of various automotive stores operating stationary as well as online. The wide assortment of such sellers includes both new and good quality used modules.
