Engine Control Units (ECU) – Used OEM Engine Computers
Engine Control Units ECU – search by vehicle make and part number
Original used engine control units (ECU, ECM and PCM) for passenger cars, vans and selected commercial vehicles. Auto24Parts offers engine computers from many vehicle generations and electronics manufacturers, with individual modules identified primarily by the complete OEM and manufacturer part numbers printed on the original ECU label.
The most accurate way to find a replacement engine computer is usually to compare all references from the original module. Depending on the vehicle, an ECU may carry an OEM number together with a Bosch, Siemens, Continental, Delphi, Denso, Magneti Marelli or other manufacturer reference, as well as additional hardware, software or ECU-family identification.
Our catalogue is divided into dedicated vehicle-make categories and exact part-number products. Depending on the specific ECU and vehicle, different ECU preparation options may be available, including used / locked units for further programming, ready-for-programming modules, VIRGIN preparation and ECU cloning. If you are unsure which module matches your vehicle, send us a clear photo of the complete original ECU label.

Common ECU part-number systems by vehicle make
Different vehicle manufacturers use different part-number formats and engine-control families. Recognising the number system on the original ECU label can make it easier to identify the correct category before searching for the exact replacement module.
- Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and SEAT – VAG references such as 03L..., 03G..., 06J... and engine-management families including EDC, MED and Simos.
- BMW – DDE and DME engine control units combined with BMW OEM and Bosch, Siemens or Continental references.
- Mercedes-Benz – Mercedes A-number references together with Bosch numbers and engine-control families such as CR and MED.
- Ford – FoMoCo references frequently containing 12A650 together with Bosch and other manufacturer numbers.
- Peugeot and Citroën – PSA references frequently beginning with 96... or 98..., combined with Bosch, SID, DCM or Magneti Marelli identification.
- Fiat and Alfa Romeo – Fiat-group OEM references combined with Magneti Marelli MJD / IAW, Bosch and selected SID systems.
- Renault – characteristic 7700..., 8200... and 23710... OEM references together with Bosch, Continental, SID and Magneti Marelli numbers.
- Nissan – 23710... OEM references and Hitachi MEC numbers together with Bosch and Continental identification.
- Toyota – OEM references such as 89661... combined with Denso, Bosch and other manufacturer numbers.
- Honda – characteristic 37820... engine-control references, often appearing both with and without separators.
- Suzuki – 33920... and 33921... OEM references combined with Denso MB / 112..., Mitsubishi E2T / E6T and Bosch numbers.
These prefixes and ECU-family names are useful for narrowing the search, but they do not confirm compatibility by themselves. The complete part number and all relevant references from the original ECU label should always be compared.
